Originally referred to as the "seaside style," cedar shingled
homes first lined the cobblestone streets of Boston in the 1800's.
Cape Cods, colonials and Garrisons quickly grew in popularity across
America, like the original, only shingles have a naturally textured
surface and edge. You can even still see the random marks of a
mill saw.
Our modern version of the classic shingle never has to be painted
or stained to maintain resilience to the weather. Plus unlike
organic wood, our shingles will never warp or split.
